After eating a rich breakfast, set off for a scenic drive that begins from Lemosho Gate. Enjoy viewing the Maasai villages and ‘capelleras’ during the 3 hour drive. After registering at Kilimanjaro National Park Headquarters, proceed to the rainforest zone inhabited by exotic birds and Colobus monkeys.

Arrive at Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,850m), where a superbly equipped extravagant tent tailored with a private dining area, thick mattresses, and insulated sleeping bags is ready. Savor a hot gourmet dinner beneath the starlit sky.

From the rainforest, the path leads to the laands of heather and volcanic ridges. It proceeds to the saddle of moorland.

In the afternoon, reach Shira Ridge (3,500m) where we will descend a bit, passing through several glacial valleys to Shira Camp 1, the new melting camp. After we set up camp, you will have free time where you can view Mount Meru.

To top it off, the camp has a magnificent view with a warm dinner, sleeping bags, and tents all provided.

The Hut is the last spot right before heading to the summit. Once you go around the hut, you will be welcomed by alluring views of the underrated peak, the Uhuru Peak. Snuggle in your cozy tent whilst admiring the views and prepare for the midnight excursion to document the magical uhuru peak.

After celebrating with a meal and some rest at [[Millennium Camp]], one is asked to ascend the peak that marks the Uhuru Peak. The highest point in Africa should be ascended just before setting sun to witness the breathtaking view. Idle for a while and soak the magnificence that encircles you, after which descending is a choice.
