Day Trip

This day marks the first day of your honeymoon, which starts at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). When the plane lands at the airport, one of the representatives will meet you and start celebrating by taking you to the private car that you will use for transfer to Arusha for a luxurious and private lodge in the area. The entire car ride will take 1-1.5 hours. Arusha is known for its gardens, so it's no surprise that your lodge is located right in the middle of a beautiful garden. Once you check into your lodge, you will have the opportunity to have a private meeting with the expert faculty that will give you a summary of the interesting things you will do in the upcoming days. The rest of the day is free. You can take a walk around, eat the complimentary food in the area, or enjoy the dramatic sunset. You will have a romantic dinner for two before you end the day.

Your private driver-guide will be waiting for you at the lodge after you finish breakfast at your leisure. You will take a 4x4 Land Cruiser for a picturesque ride to Tarangire National Park. As you cross the park gates, your safari will officially begin. You will enjoy a game drive that spans the whole day. Tarangire is a national park due to the Tarangire River that provides life to the luxuriant region and the ancient baobab trees that define it. Safariers come to Tarangire for the elephants, and you will be able to see large herds as they drink, bathe, and socialize. Following a private picnic lunch at a beautiful site in the park, you will carry on with your game drive. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your private tented camp to enjoy sundowner drinks and snacks while overlooking Tarangire National Park, followed by a romantic dinner.

Take an early breakfast and then head to start on the magnificent drive to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. As you drive, you shall see the Ngorongoro Crater and the beautiful, endless plains. As you drive past the Ngorongoro Crater and head towards Naabi Hill Gate then you will have the opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery while also looking for wildlife on the way to the big cat capital of Africa, Seronera. Watch as the sun begins to set while you sit and have your tented camp meal of the day, which you will have all to yourself. With the skies above you filled with stars, it will be the perfect end to an active day.

After breakfast, the Serengeti National Park won’t be so legendary anymore. More like famed. We’ll drive alongside the Ngorongoro Crater, appreciating the view, before plunging headlong into the Serengeti, Naabi Hill Gate, and the game drive is included. We’ll take note of the immense landscape, attempting to find the stars of Africa, the big cats. We’ll be spending the night in an exclusive tent, set privately in the center of the Serengeti, to beat the spell of the stars.

Today is one of the most memorable parts of your safari. You can spend the whole day in the Serengeti while your guide drives you around. Since there are no long connections today, you can have the mobility of animals. You can decide if you want to do the sunrise hot air balloon safari. If not, you can enjoy morning drives, as well as afternoon drives, where you can see all the animals. You can also scan the Seronera River valley to find leopards, or go to one of the many granite rocks and find lion prides. Have lunch, or if you want, you can go back to your camp and relax until it's time for sunset.

Having a third night in the Serengeti is a true luxury, unlocking exploratory possibilities that are both deeper and more relaxed. There's more. Today, you can choose your own adventure. Do you want to hunt down a specific animal that you still haven’t been able to spot, or are you dying to go back to an already-loved location? You can easily go off on a game drive in the morning, and spend the afternoon doing just about anything you want in your aesthetically pleasing camp. Do you want to kick back while appreciating the lovely view and enjoying the stillness of nature from the private veranda of your tent? It's all about doing whatever is convenient and pleasing just for you on that given day! It's a honeymoon, after all.

On the last day of staying at the Serengeti National Park, enjoy the early morning magic while going on a last safari game drive through the park. After the game, you will head back to your camp for a late breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out and start the drive to the southeast along the plains, which offers a really nice game safari on the way. After the drive, you will continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation, where you will ascend to the rim of the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater. There, you will check in and spend some time at the safari lodge in the Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll spend the day. In the end, you will enjoy the amazing panoramic sights of the covered caldera, which makes the place a perfect romantic venue for a date.

Activities: Morning game drive in the Serengeti, transit to Ngorongoro.
Accommodation: A luxury midrange safari lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

You will eat breakfast with a view before descending 600 meters to Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-6 hour driving safari. This UNESCO heritage site has a wonderful natural design and contains a large population of animals. You will enter the crater in search of the black rhino, prides of lions, elephants, and large groups of buffalo. Following the driving safari, there is a picnic lunch. Following lunch, the crater will be climbed down for the last time before ascending the crater wall and returning to Arusha. You will be taken to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
