Day Trip
When you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), the first thing you are going to notice is that you are in the middle of paradise and your safari in Tanzania is right around the corner. Don't panic, instead be at ease because one of the staff members is going to be waiting for you at the airport. They will help you carry your bags, and they will make sure you enjoy a worry-free ride to Arusha, where your hotel is located. You will enjoy a cozy overnight stay in this lovely hotel. This is the first of many stops on your holiday. You will have a chance to go to the safari after your stay in the hotel. Remember to organize a meeting where you will receive an instruction set for a week-long safari. What we guarantee is that you will go home with great memories and tales to share with friends and family. All of your expectations are set to be met in one of the finest parks in this exquisite nature. You will also receive strategies that you are going to use during your week of safari.

You will have your breakfast early that day. While your breakfast is being prepared, your professional driver will come to your hotel in your 4x4 Land Cruiser. He will go with you on the beautiful drive to Tarangire National Park. Your safari will start immediately when you go past the gate, with an entire day of game drive focused on the endless terrain. Tarangire features the life-giving Tarangire River and dozens of giant, age-old baobab trees. Most Tarangire is the sheer number of elephants that is used to describe the park. You will be able to see how the elephants drink water, bathe, and play with each other. You will have a picnic lunch at the park near the scenic point. You will then have your game drive, and then your later in the afternoon, you will have your dinner in the lodge. You will spend the night at the lodge.

After breakfast, prepare to embark on an epic drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. The ride takes you up through the green highlands of Karatu, then descends into the grassy plains of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You can even choose to make an obligatory detour to a Maasai village. While entering the Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate, you will notice that the landscape dramatically changes. The ‘endless plains’ will welcome you, which the park is renowned for. You will traverse the park on a game drive as you head towards the central Seronera region. This wildlife-rich area is considered the ‘big cat capital’ of Africa due to the abundance of lions, leopards, and cheetahs found within. Your tented camp, hosted in the heart of the Serengeti, will be an excellent place to unwind after a long day. Our guides will serve you a delicious dinner while being illuminated under the starlit skies.

You will spend the entire day in the central part of Serengeti which will be the best part of the safari. There will be no long drive transits which means the guide can perfectly tailor the safari. It can spend more time with the wildlife and varying central plain habitats. After breakfast begin the day with a morning drive. This is one of the best periods and times to see predators. You can search for a leopard in the Seronera River valley. There leopards can be found in the trees that are known as sausage trees. Other possibilities include scanning the unique granite kopjes for lions or observing thousands of zebra and wildebeest. You will maintain an uninterrupted day of going on an adventure by using picnic lunch and staying in the middle of the bush. This day long safari will maximize the chances for the safari-goers to see the vast nature. This is unlike anything which happens in the world. After sunset return back to the tents that will be provided.

You will wake up early in the morning for the last exploration. During the morning game drive, you will watch the sunrise while you drive to a new location in the Seronera region. After finishing the drive, you will return to the camp for a late morning meal. After eating, you will prepare to go for a scenic drive in a southeast direction while keeping the Serengeti plains to the Southeast. As you drive, enjoy the game. After you get to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will go up to the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. Then you will drive to the safari lodge, which is located on the edge of the crater. After you check in, you will be able to spend the afternoon looking at the views in the caldera while relaxing. You will enjoy the views of the lodge as well as the edge of the crater.
Activities: Morning game drive in the Serengeti, transit to Ngorongoro.
Accommodation: A midrange safari lodge perched on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
You will start the day with a great breakfast, and from there, directly descend to the crater. A ride through the sprawling 600-meter crater will take 5-6 hours. The Ngorongoro Crater, recognized by UNESCO, is completely unique, shaped like a giant horseshoe, and filled with a staggering amount of life, which makes this location the best to spot the "Big Five." Throughout the drive, you will take in the various habitats on the floor of the crater, such as the stunningly beautiful soda lake, which is filled with flamingos, sprawling open grasslands, and acacia woods. All of this in an attempt to spot the critically endangered black rhinos, massive lion prides, elephant bulls, and huge buffalo herds. Afterwards, you will have a small picnic lunch, and from there will proceed to the Ngoitokitok. From the picnic spot, you will move on to the crater wall, which you will ascend, and then memory to Karatu to stay the last night of the safari.

On the last day of the safari, it is time to experience the safari for the last time and in a unique way. After a long and relaxing breakfast, you will drive to Manyara National Park, which is less than one hour away. This unique park is famous for its lush, jungle-like, groundwater forest and the shallow soda Lake Manyara. Here you can spot troops of large baboons, blue monkeys, and various types of birds. Manyara National Park is also famous for the lions that climb trees, and your guide will be on the lookout for them, hiding in the branches of the acacia trees. In the early afternoon, you will exit the park and go back to Arusha from where your guide will drop you off at your hotel in the city, or you can choose to go to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to board your flight.
