Your hotel is about 100 kilometers away, and you will arrive roughly 2 to 2.5 hours after your flight concludes. The journey will take you alongside Mount Kilimanjaro, enabling you to get some breathtaking views. The headquarters for Kilimanjaro is at Arusha town, which is why you will check in at the hotel there. Once you settle down, you will receive a briefing session. The session will inform you about the different parks, lodges, possible dangers, and the 7-day itinerary.
Activities: Airport transfer, comprehensive pre-safari briefing.
Accommodation: A comfortable midrange lodge in Arusha.

You'll have breakfast early in the morning and proceed to the hotel, where your guide will be waiting. Your first chance to experience safari-style driving will be inside the 4x4 Land Cruiser in Tarangire National Park. Even before you check in to the park, you will have sightings of many animals and relax with the breathtaking scenery, as the park has several game-dense areas. Tarangire is filled with the Tarangire River, as well as with its giant, old baobab trees that define its landscape. The park is widely known as home to the largest herds of elephants, many of which you will see bathing, drinking, and socializing. Tarangire National Park is the only park where you can see elephants all year round. Afterward, you will have your picnic at the park, before getting back to the game drive again. Later in the afternoon, you will check into the lodge, where you'll enjoy your dinner and spend the night.

In this game drive, you will enjoy the wild area called “Seronera region”, which is known as the “big cat center” of Africa. In this region, you will find a massive density of lions, leopards, and cheetahs all around you. Look for the hippo in the Seronera River valley, scan the granite kopjes for lion, and thousands of resident wildebeest and zebra graze for food. To make the most out of your safari day, you’ll carry a picnic lunch to make sure there are no interruptions.
