Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania is the tallest mountain in Africa. It is one of the most preferred hiking destinations due to its varying ecosystems that adventurers can interact with throughout a hike. The hike covers the three different regions of Mount Kilimanjaro which are a tropical rainforest base, the Alpes, along with the breathtaking glaciers at the peak of the mountain. A once-in-a-lifetime hiking experience, you will create memories that last forever as you ascend the mountain and with new views coming every day. However, if someone does not wish to hike to the peak, day hikes are available as well. These day hikes cover the lower parts of the mountain and the beauty that surrounds it. The day hikes provide a chance to appreciate the flora and fauna along with magnificent views. Climbing the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro is a tough feat to complete but undeniably worth it.

Kilimanjaro Sumit climb

Kilimanjaro trekking will take you across stunning terrains, including rainforests and alpine meadows, for reaching uhuru peak at 5895 meters. Multiple routes are available, each providing difficult levels, but each route gives breathtaking views and the ultimate reward of standing at the highest point of Africa.

Camping experience

Camping on Mount Kilimanjaro increases the level of adventure to the next degree as hikers can rest at specific camps along the trekkers’ route. These sites are basic but do provide an opportunity to sleep beneath the sky as one rests and adjusts to the mountain before climbing it.

Base of mountain tour

The starting point for the trek is the base of Kilimanjaro, from which you can choose between Marangu Gate and Machame routes. You will be able to experience vigorous vegetation while trying to acclimatize, with short hikes to Mandara Hut or Shira Plateau before venturing the peak.
