What Machame Route Does Best

Your journey kicks off at Machame Gate, where park registration is done along with meeting your trekking team. Afterward, you will walk through a thick rainforest filled with exotic birds and colobus monkeys before heading to Machame campsite.

As you leave the rainforest behind and move into the moorland zone, the steep trail tends to provide beautiful exposures to the volcanic mountains and alpine vegetation on the peaks of Kilimanjaro.

Duration: 4-6 hours

• First sighting of Kibo peak (the summit of Kilimanjaro).
• Crossing the Shira plateau, as an ancient lava flow.
• Mount Meru has one of its eye-catching views during sunset.
This is a day for plenty of rest and for sleeping really well because tomorrow will be the most difficult so it is very important to be good piernas. To Lava Tower (4,630m), then head down to the beautiful Barranco valley.

To start the day with an exciting climb of Barranco wall's hike before proceeding to Karanga Valley leading to Barafu Camp (Campsite 4,673 meters), from where you can nauseaing go on the stimulative pre dawn summit.

Summary:
• Conditioning for a mental and physical trial on the summit night.
• Catching Kibo’s glacial sunset.

Distance: 17 Kilometers (10.5 miles)
So, you are doing the last part of the trek to Kili on the last night?! No freaking way climbing formally begins at 12 am and you can expect to be shocked beyond compare with what you are preparing to go through. Level 4 volcanic scree, over the British Standard alone puts you in the zone. At Stella point (5756m) turns around under uhuru peak (5895m), the King of all peaks you are soon to crush. With the complete chest of solar at level k, you will cruise effortlessly through the stars and beyond.
Summit:
• You are absolutely on top of the world. Prepare for the whole peak to envelop you as it would glorify each and every level you set for yourself.
• Taken from Mweka peak, you are simultaneously beyond pleased and crushed. Not quite sure how the building tristate pushes now serve as a foundation.
• Cautious and completely satisfied reconciliation to Mweka peak.
Day 6: Mweka Camp (3090m) – Mweka Gate (1640m)
Distance: 10 Kilometer (6.2 miles)
Your trek is now almost over, take a break to relax your body and feel the joy rush through you. Your return via Mweka is not just a return, it is the icing on the cake for all the hard work you did. The mountain itself is happy to serve everything on a glory platter munch.
